Our Purpose: Helping Kids Learn Through STEM

The core purpose of Brooklyn Science Spot is to use science as the engine that powers joyful, hands-on discovery. Through experiments, live animals, engineering challenges, camps, classes, field trips and celebrations, children build curiosity, creativity, confidence and problem-solving skills while having fun.

We believe children learn best when they are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, build, explore and discover for themselves. Brooklyn Science Spot creates a playful learning environment where a child’s sense of wonder leads the way and scientific thinking becomes part of every experience.
